Clinical Interpretation (Cerebellar Ataxia)

**Ataxia:** The hallmark sign of cerebellar dysfunction. It is characterized by impaired coordination of voluntary muscle movement. [Image of cerebellar signs and symptoms]
**0-4 Scale:** This scoring system is adapted from standardized clinical ataxia rating scales, where 0 is normal and 4 is severely impaired. A high score across multiple domains suggests generalized cerebellar involvement.
**Testing Tip:** Always test movements on the **unaffected side first** to provide a baseline for comparison.
**References:** Adapted from Fahn-Tolosa-Marin Clinical Rating Scale (Modified) and standard neurological examination protocols.
