📋 How to Perform (Standard Box Test)

  1. Patient sits on floor with legs extended, knees straight.
  2. Feet placed flat against the Sit-and-Reach box.
  3. Patient reaches forward slowly with both hands as far as possible.
  4. Measurement:
    • 0 cm = At the toes.
    • Positive (+) = Reaching past toes.
    • Negative (-) = Did not reach toes.

📋 How to Perform (Apley/Back Scratch)

  1. Patient stands. One hand reaches over the shoulder, the other reaches up the back.
  2. Attempt to touch or overlap fingers.
  3. Measurement:
    • 0 cm = Tips of middle fingers just touching.
    • Positive (+) = Fingers overlap.
    • Negative (-) = Gap between fingers.
